Carlton Jones, of Tulare, was appointed to the Partnership Board in March 2015. In 2016, Jones became mayor of the City of Tulare, where he served as a member of the City Council from 2004 to 2008.

He has been an engineer at the Fresno Fire Department since 2006, where he has served as a firefighter since 2002. Jones served as a firefighter at the Tulare City Department of Fire Administration from 1994 to 2002.
